Nebraska History Highlight
On Easter Sunday, March 23, 1913, one of the most devastating events in Omaha’s history unfolded as a powerful tornado tore through the city, carving a path several blocks wide through residential neighborhoods. In just minutes, the storm claimed around 140 lives, injured hundreds more, and destroyed roughly 1,500 homes—leaving thousands suddenly homeless and entire neighborhoods reduced to debris. As quickly as the destruction came, the response followed, with volunteers, soldiers from Fort Omaha, and community members rallying to rescue the injured and care for those who had lost everything. In the days that followed, relief efforts spread across the city, and a remarkable spirit of generosity and resilience emerged as Omaha began the long process of rebuilding.

Another good week of sales around Omaha with a mix of estate companies and a few different types of inventory depending on where you stop.
